Photos from a leisurely tour of the park. Reminders that certain things need attention, and that there are some very beautiful bits of scenery about.

The wall at Henbury Rose garden is still in need of attention. A windstorm in March(?) tore a row of bricks off the top, and vandals continue making paint marks. These need to be addressed by the Parks Department.

Similarly, vandals have been painting, knocking over brickwork, and littering at the Chamberlain Italian Garden.
On a more positive note, this bit of the arboretum around the monkey-puzzle and dawn redwood trees is gorgeous in the sunlight.

As are the trees and flowers in bloom, some of which have a lovely fragrance.

The title is misleading. You can’t easily “walk round” Highbury park as the lack of a complete path prevents it.
